Job Description

As an Airport Security Officer: F/T TCO Tuesday-Sunday in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic airport environment. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. This role offers the opportunity to use clear communication and teamwork while upholding integrity in a fast-paced government location.

Pay Rate: 24.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Thu 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Sat 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

This role requires 2 weeks of paid, in person training, in a full time capacity before starting the shift applied to. Training will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing professional assistance and directions to the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
