About this role

Airport Partnerships Manager

About the team

As an Airports Partnership Manager, you will own Turo’s relationships and agreements with small and medium hub airports in your region. Reporting to the regional Head of Airport Partnerships, you will build strong partnerships with airport authorities and other stakeholders. You will negotiate terms that work for every stakeholder while keeping Turo’s economics strong, and you will support your regional head on large-hub partnerships and processes.

What you will do

  • Own small and medium hub partnerships: Serve as Turo’s primary point of contact for airports in your portfolio. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with airport authorities, private operators, and other partners.
  • Negotiate favorable terms: Negotiate agreements that harmonize the needs and economics of all stakeholders (airports, hosts, guests, and Turo) while ensuring Turo ends up with favorable terms that support sustainable business.
  • Support large-hub work: Support your regional head on partnerships, negotiations, and processes with large hub airports.
  • Triage and resolve issues: Triage situations as they emerge, and engage internal teams (Product, Operations, Legal, Government Relations) and external stakeholders to reach resolution.
  • Improve processes: Identify and implement process improvements that increase the speed and accuracy of how we onboard, manage, and operate airport programs.
  • Represent Turo in the industry: Participate in industry events, and support your regional head in planning and activating at them.
  • Stay aligned: Keep your decisions and deal terms consistent with Turo’s national airports strategy and best practices.
  • Track performance: Monitor and report key metrics for your airports, using the data to spot issues and opportunities early.

Your profile

  • 2+ years in a client-facing, partnership, or account-management role. Experience with airports, ground transportation operators, or permits and agreements is strongly preferred.
  • A demonstrated track record of building and sustaining strong external relationships. Expect to be asked for examples.
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms that create value for all parties.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to launch or improve programs or processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to turn a “no” into a “yes,” and able to solve operational problems creatively.
  • Willingness to travel (around 50%), including to industry events.
