Job title: Airfreight Spot Desk Pricing Analyst
About the Role The Airfreight Spot Desk Pricing Analyst will analyze and recommend pricing for DHL products and services by conducting market analysis, competitor analysis, profitability analysis, and revenue simulations to maximize AFR profitability and ensure competitive pricing.
What You'll Do
- Execute adhoc/spot pricing and drive competitive pricing strategies.
- Search for best pricing solutions to maximize profitability of airfreight (AFR) services.
- Evaluate risks during solution design and the spot quote process; escalate for decisions at appropriate levels.
- Adhere to pricing standards and instructions set by management.
- Interact with customers in alignment with Sales.
What We're Looking For
- BS/BA in related discipline and/or 1-3 years of related field and local market experience.
- Strong analytical skills; task and detail oriented; able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maneuver through and work in multiple operational and quoting systems daily.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $68,722.50 - $91,630.00+ USD/year based on experience; base salary plus role-dependent performance-based incentives.
