Job title: Aircraft Mechanic
About the Role Air Transport International (ATI) seeks an aircraft mechanic to perform overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and related systems in accordance with company manuals and manufacturer manuals. The role ensures all aircraft maintenance complies with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements.
What You'll Do
- Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment and related components
- Sign for work accomplished and maintain awareness of defective, worn, or failed parts and safe working conditions
- Assist with housekeeping duties as needed (policing work area, maintenance of company property)
- Complete tasks assigned by Supervisor or higher management
- Exercise authority under RII provisions and report to Director of Quality Control
- Attend all company training classes as assigned by Director of Maintenance
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- FAA A&P certification
- DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid Passport and valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (up to 80 feet) and climb ladders (up to 10 feet) and stairs (up to 3 flights)
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers; stand, bend, reach; sit for extended periods; and comply with ATI attendance requirements
- Parts 121, 125, 145; heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred
