About the Role Autoliv China Tech Centre – CTC is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead airbag development projects. This role covers end-to-end project management across schedule, cost, quality, risk and cross-functional communication with customers and internal teams. You will coordinate scope, deliverables and process improvements to help safely deliver innovative mobility safety solutions. What You'll Do
- Build a project team and develop/update the project plan; adjust the plan as needed and assign tasks to team members, following up until task completion.
- Control product cost from Phase 0 to Phase 4; confirm product price throughout the development cycle and report regularly; drive purchasing, engineering and factory teams to continuously optimize cost.
- Organize and hold regular project meetings to communicate progress, cost, quality risk points, etc.; report project progress to management on time.
- Identify risk points throughout development; propose solutions based on probability and impact; manage risks in a closed-loop way: identify, analyze, take corrective actions, track results, and close issues.
- Coordinate and manage all project areas: scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, risk, procurement; understand customer needs and translate them into requests; assist management to organize related improvement meetings; document problems, analyze root causes, and contribute to the collective experience of airbag project management. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement) in automotive or safety systems is preferred.
- Strong ability to develop, monitor and adjust project plans; effective cost control and vendor coordination.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication with customers and internal teams; ability to lead regular project meetings and present progress to stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a track record of driving improvements in airbag project management.
