About the Role Join SUEZ Air & Climate UK to lead and deliver a range of air quality and odour projects, informed by diagnostic monitoring campaigns. The role combines project management, data analysis, and client-facing delivery to help clients achieve regulatory compliance and emissions management. What You'll Do
- Manage air quality and odour projects, including the collection and interpretation of environmental data from industrial, waste, and wastewater sector sites
- Develop and implement bespoke measurement strategies, including production of RAMS and project execution, with support from the Operations Manager
- Liaise with clients, internal teams, site operators, and external consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
- Process, analyse, and report on a wide range of environmental and emissions datasets, including data validation and adjustment
- Undertake atmospheric dispersion modelling and impact assessments
- Carry out on-site surveys, including monitoring equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Support workstreams related to odour control system design, ventilation assessments, emissions monitoring, and occupational exposure surveys
- Travel within the UK and Ireland, with occasional European or international travel as required (including overnight stays)
- This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, hybrid working role – The location is flexible within the UK, with a preference for candidates who are commutable to Bristol or based in the South West region What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience gained through professional practice
- Proven experience managing complex air quality projects, ideally with 4+ years’ practical experience, including emissions monitoring
- Strong knowledge of UK air quality policy and regulatory frameworks (indoor and outdoor)
- Practical experience with indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring and a broad range of sampling equipment
- Experience in data processing, interpretation, and reporting of emissions and ambient air quality results
- Proficiency in atmospheric dispersion modelling and impact assessment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client-facing roles
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Must hold a valid driving licence for use in the UK; willingness to travel and work flexibly as required
- Available to travel where necessary, as projects may be carried out in the UK and Ireland; a valid passport is required Nice to Have
- Knowledge of industrial processes including wastewater treatment works, anaerobic digestion, landfill, energy from waste, and power generation
- Experience or interest in occupational exposure monitoring (e.g. dust, bioaerosols, noise, or similar workplace environmental assessments)
