Job title: Air & Ocean Account Manager
About the Role Responsible for achieving country growth targets of the assigned Sector in line with the Air & Ocean regional & global strategy. Provide Sector expertise to identify major opportunities, ensure customer requirements are integrated within solutions, and support network sales to launch or extend Ground and Contract Logistics in the country. Collaborate with the Air & Ocean country product team to develop capabilities and drive CEVA product synergies and upsell.
What You'll Do
- Use a consultative needs-satisfaction selling approach to sell CEVA’s Air & Ocean services to assigned/target sector accounts and exceed budget.
- Schedule and conduct monthly face-to-face call activity focused on target accounts, new business, retention, and appropriate cold calling.
- Generate monthly pipeline, secure new business, meet monthly budget targets, and input activity into CRM; manage multiple target accounts with opportunities for net revenue as directed.
- Work with customers and operations to develop standard operating procedures and customer profiles; assist with shipment status inquiries; coordinate quotations with Sales Support and deliver by requested dates.
- Participate in bids, fairs, and other events; assist in resolving customer complaints and collecting overdue accounts.
- Be the Voice of the Customer to Operations and escalate critical issues; present the A&O business to customers for market updates.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness; draft commercial contracts with Legal; assess litigation risks with Financial & Legal Services; manage debt collection; review profitability of customer accounts; support annual budget and action plan; analyze performance.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in business or equivalent; fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Experience across Air & Ocean and other products in the country
- Experience handling industrial sector clients; account management and relationship building
- Deep knowledge of local and international logistics industry; process-driven with continuous improvement mindset
- Mature judgement and decision-making; strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence and develop relationships at local level and collaborate internally
Nice to Have
- Master’s Degree in Logistics
- 2-5 years of Logistics Account Management experience
- Proven track record in closing deals and winning bids
- Entrepreneurial spirit in Air & Ocean; expertise in integrated supply chain solutions; domestic & international
- Strong relationship with Customer Service Team and Air & Ocean Operations
