Accountabilities:

As a member of the AI Trainers Network, you may contribute to a range of language-focused AI projects depending on your expertise, skills, and availability.

Annotate and label text, images, audio, or other content to support AI training and development.

Evaluate search results, advertisements, and chatbot responses for relevance, quality, accuracy, and usefulness.

Create, review, and test prompts to improve the performance of large language models and other AI systems.

Assess linguistic accuracy, grammar, tone, and cultural relevance in Afrikaans-language content.

Identify content that may require improvements in clarity, inclusivity, or cultural sensitivity.

Apply detailed project guidelines to produce consistent, accurate, and high-quality results.

Help improve AI systems by providing human insight into language use, cultural context, and real-world communication.

Complete assigned tasks within the specified timelines and project requirements.

Review project instructions and compensation details before deciding whether to participate in an assignment.

Requirements

• The ideal contributor is fluent in Afrikaans, comfortable working with digital tools, and motivated to help improve AI through careful language evaluation and content analysis. Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to follow structured guidelines are important for success.

• Native or near-native fluency in Afrikaans.

• Based in South Africa, as specified in the original project requirements; the role is advertised as remote.

• Proficiency in English to understand project instructions and communicate effectively when required.
