Job title: AI Trainer - Kannada
About the Role Prolific is seeking fluent Kannada speakers to act as evaluators for AI training. This is a task-based, remote, flexible role with no fixed schedule or minimum hours, allowing you to decide how much you work.
What You'll Do
- Perform side-by-side evaluations of text and voice snippets to assess naturalness and authenticity of Kannada language
- Listen to AI-generated audio and rate how natural the voice sounds
- Tag data and provide feedback on naturalness, tone, and cultural alignment
- Follow instructions precisely with high attention to detail
- Ensure a quiet environment and use good quality headphones to optimize audio evaluation
What We're Looking For
- Fluent Kannada speaker with strong command of natural, everyday Kannada
- Fluent English for instruction following and reporting
- Ability to distinguish subtle differences in accent, tone, and vocal delivery
- High attention to detail; backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus
- Access to a quiet work environment and good headphones/speakers
- PayPal account to receive payment
Nice to Have
- Backgrounds in linguistics or translation are a plus
- Experience with data annotation or AI training is helpful
Compensation & Benefits
- On average, participants earn approximately $3.40 for a 10-minute task; pay is per task as part of a flexible, remote setup
