Job Description
Responsible for planning, designing, installing, testing & implementing systems in accordance with specifications & service level. Where relevant, perform the necessary system programming & configuration.
- Leading a small team and providing guidance to team members.
- Installing and configuring operating systems and common services products.
- Upgrading and patching the operating systems and common services products.
- Reviewing of Monthly Reports and Change Requests
- Develop & maintain technical and configurations documentation
- Evaluate and upgrade firewall and network hardware and/or firmware
- Support Level 1 Engineers during problem determination and resolution whenever necessary.
- Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines.
- Provide technical advice and support Services Deliver Manager/Project Manager
- Aliasing with Vendors/OEM Partners on technical matters.
- Willing to support 24 X 7 standby
Qualifications

Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) or Windows Server systems.

Experience with common services products such as Active Directory/DNS, Splunk, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, BeyondTrust etc.

Strong knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).

Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.

Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).
