AI Solution Architect / Builder
Full-time · Remote (Canada) CA$110,000–CA$150,000 / year CURRENT OPENING
You'll turn client problems into working AI systems — not demos. Working alongside the engagement lead, you own the technical design and build: integrations, retrieval, agents, and automation that run reliably in production on secure, Canada-based infrastructure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Design solution architectures that fit the client's data, systems, and constraints.

Build and integrate AI features into real workflows (APIs, retrieval, agents, automation).

Stand up evaluation and guardrails so systems are accurate, safe, and monitorable.

Own data handling, security, and responsible-AI controls for what you ship.

Write clear documentation and runbooks so client teams can operate the system.

Partner with the engagement lead on scope, estimates, and delivery milestones.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3+ years building and shipping software; recent hands-on work with LLM/AI systems.

Strong in TypeScript/Python and cloud (AWS preferred); comfortable with serverless.

Experience integrating AI into real products — retrieval, tool use, or agents.

A bias for production quality: testing, observability, security, and docs.

Clear communicator who can explain trade-offs to non-technical clients.

Based in Canada and eligible to work here.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with evaluation/guardrail frameworks for LLMs.

Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience.

Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, DynamoDB, and IaC (Serverless/CDK).
