Join PwC's Advanced Technology Solutions team as an AI / Software Engineering Manager (m/f), where you will lead the development and delivery of AI-powered software engineering solutions for leading global clients. This role is ideal for experienced leaders who combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities and want to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams while driving transformative technology initiatives in a dynamic consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams of software engineers, AI engineers, data scientists, and developers delivering innovative AI and software solutions.

• Design and architect scalable solutions leveraging modern software engineering practices and AI technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, Computer Vision, and Data Science techniques.

• Drive end-to-end project delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support, ensuring quality and timelines are met.

• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into effective, scalable technical strategies.

• Mentor team members and develop their capabilities while fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Establish best practices for software development, AI implementation, deployment, and governance across the team.

• Actively leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and ChatPwC to enhance productivity, improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and solve complex problems responsibly.

• What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI development, Machine Learning, or Cloud technologies, with proven track record leading technical teams.

• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects end-to-end.

• Strong expertise in Python and/or other modern programming languages, along with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or equivalents).

• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and/or modern software architecture, such as LLMs, RAG, NLP, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, microservices, or distributed systems.

• Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), as well as data engineering practices.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—able to influence senior-level clients and executives.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to align technical solutions with business goals and ROI.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen.

• English B2+.

Additional Information:

• Salary: From 4000 EUR/month

• (The stated salary represents the minimum for this position. Final compensation is determined individually based on your experience, expertise, seniority, and overall profile. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus linked to individual results and the company’s success.)
