About this role
For our client, a large international organisation, we are looking for an AI Security Lead / Architect to set the strategic direction for AI in security at group level. This is a pioneering role: you will define how the organisation secures its use of AI and how it uses AI to strengthen security. You’ll also have real freedom to choose the tools and approach.
What you’ll be doing
-
Defining the AI security strategy and roadmap, and turning it into concrete implementation plans for engineering teams
-
Leading the selection and rollout of AI-related security tools, mainly in the Microsoft ecosystem but not limited to it
-
Discovering and controlling shadow AI across the business, and defining how employees can safely use AI tools
-
Setting up monitoring, detection and response for AI usage and AI-related threats
-
Building AI security governance: policies, standards, risk assessment and alignment with regulation (EU AI Act and others)
-
Working with security leadership, business stakeholders, the central AI team and global infrastructure teams
-
Defining secure patterns for AI platforms, including AI gateways and access to models and data
Requirements
-
Hands-on experience implementing AI security in an enterprise environment, not only defining policy
-
A track record of driving security initiatives with senior security leadership and business stakeholders in an international organisation
-
Practical knowledge of the Microsoft security stack, for example Purview, Defender for Cloud Apps, Sentinel, Entra and Security Copilot
-
Understanding of AI gateways and how to control access to internal and external models
-
Experience designing security architecture in Azure
-
Solid understanding of infrastructure and network security
-
Familiarity with AI governance frameworks such as the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF
-
A proactive, self-driven approach: you shape the direction rather than wait for requirements
-
Fluent English; German is a plus
Benefits
-
A strategic, high-visibility role with a real influence on how a global organisation adopts AI
-
Freedom to choose tools and define the approach
-
An international environment and stakeholders
-
Remote work
-
Stable employment on a Contract of Employment or B2B and a full benefits package
