AI Product Owner

Position: AI Product Owner

Tek Leaders Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Product Owner to lead the development, strategy, and execution of AI-powered products. This role bridges business needs with cutting-edge technology, ensuring that each AI solution delivers measurable value, aligns with ethical standards, and enhances user experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across data science, engineering, UX/UI, and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to telecom infrastructure projects (Data Centers, Cloud Migrations, Network Upgrades).
• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for AI-driven solutions.
• Work closely with data scientists and AI engineers to translate model capabilities into usable features.
• Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and prioritized user stories.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, balancing business value, feasibility, and user impact.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with privacy laws, ethical AI guidelines, and industry regulations.
• Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive, explainable interfaces for AI products.
• Define KPIs and success metrics, and track product performance post-launch.
• Lead product demos, sprint reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Stay current on AI trends, best practices, and the evolving competitive landscape.
• Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• 8–10 years of experience in a Product Owner/Product Manager role, preferably with AI/ML-driven products.

• Solid understanding of data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and model integration.

• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum practices and tools.

• Proven ability to translate complex technology into business value.

• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and product lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI, and compliance standards.
