AI/ML Instructor – Part-Time

About the Role

Scaler is looking for experienced AI/ML professionals who are passionate about teaching and can help working professionals strengthen their machine learning skills through structured, practical instruction.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on AI/ML experience, a solid understanding of machine learning concepts, and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and engagingly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live AI/ML classes for working professionals.
• Explain machine learning fundamentals, algorithms, neural networks and deep learning concepts.
• Connect theoretical concepts with practical industry applications.
• Resolve learner doubts and help students build conceptual clarity.
• Deliver sessions using structured course material.
• Maintain high teaching quality and learner engagement.
• Commit consistently to the agreed teaching schedule and responsibilities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on AI/ML or machine learning-related experience.

• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and practical applications.

• Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries or frameworks.

• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, structured and engaging manner.

• Strong verbal communication and technical articulation.

• Consistent availability for the required teaching schedule.

• Prior teaching, mentoring or technical training experience is an advantage.

• Time Commitment

• Part-time, remote engagement.

• Classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9 PM to 12 AM IST.

• Three sessions per week, with each session lasting 3 hours.

• Contract duration: 1 year, with deployment based on the module. Each module typically lasts 4–5 months.

Compensation

Up to ₹20,000 per session, structured as follows:

• ₹8,000 fixed component.
• ₹6,000 variable component based on learner ratings.
• ₹6,000 variable component based on key responsibility areas (KRAs).

Payments are made monthly, with TDS applicable.
