About this role
Job title: AI Adoption Lead
About the Role The AI Adoption Lead is AHEAD's embedded human answer to the gap between AI deployment and realized value. This BU-focused transformation role blends change management, org design and workforce strategy to ensure the BU's employees are genuinely ready to work alongside AI: with the right skills, redesigned roles, reimagined workflows, and the confidence to operate in a continuously evolving environment. Reporting to the VP, Talent and Workforce Transformation, this role drives business unit-level AI adoption and responsible AI practices.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the OCM team to design and execute a BU-level AI change strategy, moving employees from AI experimenters to AI accelerators
- Develop and run stakeholder engagement plans, including resistance mapping and influence strategies
- Build a network of champions and superusers within the BU to sustain adoption momentum
- Monitor adoption signals and adjust interventions based on real-time uptake data
- Address employee anxiety and build psychological safety around AI-augmented work
- Conduct systematic task deconstruction across BU roles to identify what AI automates, augments, or creates
- Redesign job descriptions and role profiles to reflect new human–AI responsibilities
- Define AI-augmented job families and career pathways with BU leaders
- Identify roles at risk of displacement and proactively design transition pathways
- Partner with job architects and compensation teams to update role-leveling frameworks
- Assess BU-level AI fluency and identify skill gaps; commission or co-design targeted learning programs
- Integrate AI capability-building into daily workflows and develop manager enablement for AI-augmented teams
- Track and report capability uplift against transformation milestones
- Build a dynamic skills supply/demand picture accounting for humans and AI agents
- Inform build/buy/borrow/automate decisions for critical gaps; support scenario planning for headcount and structure as AI scales
- Advise on organizational design changes — spans, layers, team composition, and human–agent workflow
- Pilot new operating models, such as human-in-the-loop decision flows; share patterns for replication
- Cultivate culture of active participation and embed responsible AI practices into team norms
- Run BU manager learning programs focused on judgment, coaching, and oversight of human–AI workflows
- Own the BU's AI adoption measurement framework; design metrics and partner with eTech for accessible data
- Surface informal/shadow AI use and channel into governed adoption; track health across segments
- Feed BU insights to the Hive Transformation Office to inform enterprise strategy

- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influence across executives and frontline managers
- Experience in role design, capability-building, learning program development, and manager enablement
- Ability to design and monitor adoption metrics, analyze uptake data, and translate insights into interventions
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices, governance, and human-in-the-loop workflows
- Comfortable with workforce planning, scenario planning, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving AI-enabled environments
Nice to Have
- Prior BU-level AI adoption experience in large enterprises
- Background in OCM, org design, and data-driven decision making
- Experience with AI/automation in technology or digital services environments
