About the Role As an Agentic AI Engineer on Booz Allen's national security team, you will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data to support network analysts and deliver agentic AI solutions. What You'll Do
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain ML models used to support national security products and network analysts.
- Apply best-fit ML algorithms and technologies to solve mission-critical problems.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and leaders to deliver world-class ML-enabled solutions.
- Define ML strategy for national security and help steer the direction of mission-critical projects.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of ML engineers to navigate ML tools, techniques, and frameworks.
- Contribute to real-world challenges and help Booz Allen define capabilities for agentic AI. What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering and Data Science.
- Experience developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of NN/ LSTMs, regression, tree-based models, and SVMs.
- Knowledge of agent planning, reasoning, and execution loops.
- Knowledge of context window management methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in AI-related field. Nice to Have
- Experience with Go.
- Knowledge of vector databases, RAG, and other forms of semantic search.
- Experience with software design patterns.
- Experience with model evaluation and AI quality metrics.

- Salary range: $77,600 - $176,000 per year (USD).
