Affiliated Instructor in Mathematics
Wheaton College invites applications for a part-time instructor of Mathematics for the Spring 2027 academic semester to teach the following course:
MATH 104 – Calculus II (catalog description*) Meeting days/time: Mon-Wed-Fri, 10:30 AM – 11:20 AM
Responsibilities of the instructor include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Teaching effectively in an in-person environment that encourages student-faculty interactions.
- Creating a syllabus (with assistance, if desired) to be provided to students and posted on the course’s Canvas site.
- Grading assignments within appropriate time frames and posting grades on Canvas.
- Holding regular office hours and being responsive to student needs.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s in Mathematics or related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D in Mathematics or related field, experience in teaching Mathematics courses at the college level.

The anticipated hiring or recruitment range for this position is $5,000/course. The actual salary offered will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience of the candidate hired.
