Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, execution, and day-to-day management of affiliate programs across a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for affiliate work.
  • Build program strategies and 30/60/90-day roadmaps that tie affiliate partnerships to client revenue, visibility, and LLM/AI discovery goals.
  • Lead partner recruitment, negotiation, and activation across publishers, review sites, newsletters, creators, and marketplaces, including commission structures, rev share terms, flat fees, and insertion orders.
  • Run Siege’s affiliate playbooks for recruitment, onboarding, content partnerships, and performance management, and recommend improvements to the Director of Affiliate Partnerships as you learn what works.
  • Set up and QA tracking, attribution, and reporting workflows on platforms such as Impact, PartnerStack, CJ, and Awin.
  • Analyze program performance, diagnose issues (e.g., high-click/low-conversion partners), and make optimization decisions without needing step-by-step direction.
  • Lead client meetings and present performance results, insights, and recommendations confidently and independently.
  • Train, mentor, and review the work of Affiliate Partnerships Specialists, delegating tasks and providing clear feedback.
  • Support the Director on sales calls and proposals by helping scope engagements, estimate opportunity, and outline partner strategies.
  • Collaborate with SEO, content, and digital PR teams to build integrated growth strategies for clients.
  • Help grow Siege Media’s agency partnership and referral program.
  • Hit project deadlines and utilization goals while managing priorities across multiple accounts.
  • Stay current on affiliate industry trends, platforms, and how AI and LLMs are changing discovery and partner value.

Required Skills

  • 4–6 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, influencer marketing, or performance marketing, with at least 2 years owning programs or client accounts directly.

  • 2+ years of experience in an agency or services environment.

  • Proven track record of recruiting, negotiating with, and growing affiliate partners that drove measurable revenue.

  • Deep working knowledge of affiliate tracking and attribution, including cookies, pixels, postback/server-to-server tracking, attribution windows, commission models, and insertion orders.

  • Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms such as Impact, PartnerStack, CJ, Awin, Amazon Associates, Everflow, or similar networks, including program setup and troubleshooting.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn campaign data into clear recommendations and forecasts.

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing funnels, conversion metrics, and how affiliate partnerships support broader business goals.

  • Confident client communicator who can lead meetings, present results, and manage expectations without senior support.

  • Experience guiding, training, or reviewing the work of junior team members.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fully remote environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working in Google Workspace and project management systems.

  • Strong interest in how AI and LLMs are changing discovery, distribution, and the value of affiliate partners.

  • Suggested Skills

  • Experience with both B2B (e.g., SaaS) and B2C affiliate programs.

  • Experience with creator and influencer partnerships alongside editorial and publisher partners.

  • Experience supporting sales calls, proposals, or scoping new engagements.

  • Experience contributing to or building playbooks, SOPs, or reporting frameworks.

  • PXA Industry Associate Certification or comparable affiliate marketing certification.

  • Salary Range

  • The salary range for this position is 86,000–95,000 annually, depending on experience, affiliate marketing expertise, partner recruitment and negotiation experience, platform knowledge, client-facing experience, team leadership, and agency background.

  • What Success Looks Like

  • Managers of Affiliate Partnerships are the owners of Siege’s client affiliate programs. Reporting to the Director of Affiliate Partnerships, they turn the Director’s playbooks and service vision into results on real accounts, while guiding Specialists who support day-to-day execution.

  • Successful Managers act as trusted advisors to clients. They set a clear program strategy, recruit and activate the right partners, and use data to decide where to invest, renegotiate, or move on. They know how affiliate partnerships contribute to revenue, organic visibility, and AI-driven discovery, and they can explain that value clearly to clients who are new to the channel.

  • In this role, success means growing affiliate-driven revenue and partner quality across your accounts, keeping clients informed and confident, delivering accurate reporting, and helping Specialists do their best work. Managers spot patterns across accounts and feed what they learn back into Siege’s playbooks.

  • As they grow in the role, Managers take on larger and more complex accounts, a bigger part in sales and scoping, and more people leadership, positioning them for senior leadership within the affiliate practice.

  • Application Materials

Please plan to upload the following during the application process:

  • Your resume
  • A short introduction/cover letter
  • Case Study/Question: Describe an affiliate program you owned and grew. What was your strategy, how did you decide which partners to invest in, and what results did it drive?
