About the Role Advanced Manufacturing Controls Engineer for PPG's Aerospace business, based in Valencia, CA or Mojave, CA. This onsite/Hybrid role focuses on developing and implementing innovative controls solutions across diverse chemical manufacturing processes within the Aerospace SBU, reporting to the Global Project Director, Aerospace Materials. What You'll Do
- Participating as a team member in Front End Engineering, Design and Installation, including documentation for multiple projects and providing technical support to Engineers, Operators and Technical resources.
- Develop RFQs, SOWs and directly manage vendors/contractors; plan and execute projects; direct workflow reviews and coordinate equipment installation.
- Field leadership of employees and contractors, promoting teamwork and driving on-time and on-budget project delivery.
