Aerie - Merchandise Leader (Part-Time)

Aerie - Merchandise Leader (Part-Time) is a key support to the Merchandising Team Leader in our San Diego, CA store. You help ensure the store consistently reflects AEO Brand Visual Standards, execute effective floorsets and merchandising updates, and maintain a guest-ready environment through proactive replenishment. You pay close attention to detail, are passionate about visual standards, and enjoy leading and working with a team to get the job done. Responsibilities

• Support delivering an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store consistently reflects AEO Brand Standards in partnership with the Merchandising Team Leader.
• Lead floorset execution by training and coaching the floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store are implemented to floorset standards, including uppers, bustforms, tables, and wardrobers.
• Act as a merchandising innovator by managing day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment; identify merchandising opportunities and collaborate with leadership to plan and take action.
• Maintain a teamwork mindset by helping the Merchandising Team Leader ensure the team understands how to uphold AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Focus on the guest experience as the merchandising team’s priority; foster a culture of recognition and celebrate wins with the team.
• Demonstrate integrity by upholding store safety on the sales floor and in the stockroom, participating in shrink-reduction strategies, and adhering to AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A passion for AE and Aerie products.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, priority setting, and time management.
• Flexible availability to start early, work late, and include weekends.
• Solid retail merchandising and visual skills with a history of retail experience and hands-on practice.
