About the Role Join Aurora Energy Research as an Advisory Associate in Tokyo to support client engagements and energy modelling initiatives. You’ll help translate complex data into clear insights and contribute to how clients navigate energy markets. This role sits at the intersection of advisory and research, with opportunities to collaborate across global teams.
What You'll Do
- Support client engagements by conducting energy modelling tasks and data analysis to inform advisory work.
- Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with research, analytics, and product teams to develop modelling methodologies and insights.
- Validate data quality and maintain modelling workflows for consistency and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in energy markets.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., energy economics, data science, engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and ability to present complex findings clearly; Japanese language proficiency is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, or similar) and ability to work with large datasets.
Nice to Have
- Experience with energy modelling tools, energy markets, or advisory consulting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or modelling software.
