Job title: Advisor Website Support Engineer
About the Role We are looking for a valued employee to join our Advisor Website Services team. You will work closely with business partners on issues related to our Advisor Website and other digital experiences. This role focuses on support, problem-solving, and delivering a high level of service rather than software development.
What You'll Do
- Provide top service to business partners by assisting cases, calls, and requests related to Advisor Website and digital experiences.
- Learn and support Principal systems and web applications; understand how systems integrate with each other.
- Communicate complex information clearly between customers and engineers to resolve web and data-related issues.
- Own processes and issues through resolution, researching and recommending solutions when needed.
- Understand the services team's responsibilities and contribute ideas on web and data topics.
- Stay current on industry trends and participate in special projects as required.
- Maintain a high level of service and be prepared for on-call support if required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (preference in MIS, business, or related field).
- Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow.
- Ability to work with people at all levels and adapt to change.
- May be required to provide on-call support.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of insurance and financial services preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities preferred.
- Strong time management skills preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $62,000 - $74,000 per year (USD).
- Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees; no accrual and no set number of days.
- Pension Eligible.
- Work environment: In-office, hybrid (at least three office days in a typical workweek). Training period will be in the office 5 days/week. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT. You are trained on data up to October 2023.
