Your Job
As an Advanced Site Supplier Quality Engineer, you will direct and coordinate supplier quality activities for parts, components, and materials produced by subcontractors and vendors. You will monitor supplier manufacturing processes, support new project launches, and partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen supplier quality systems, process controls, and overall performance.
Our Team
You will be part of the Quality team and report to the Advanced Quality Supervisor. The role works closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, incoming inspection, production, and customer-facing quality functions to support new product introduction and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
What You Will Do
Understand customer-specific requirements (CSR) related to suppliers and monitor their execution at supplier sites for new projects.
Participate early in the component product development process (PDP) to support safe project launches.
Manage FAIR submissions and PPAP approvals for new components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supplier-related engineering change notices (ECNs).
Drive resolution of supplier quality issues identified during incoming inspection, internal production, or by customers; issue supplier quality notifications and follow up on 8D timing and effectiveness verification.
Monitor supplier quality performance and support suppliers in continuously improving their quality systems.
Conduct supplier process audits and special process audits for new projects, and support improvements in supplier quality systems and process controls.
Follow company IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 procedures, and support internal quality system and process audits.
Participate in new supplier and new process development activities.
Prepare Incoming Quality Inspection Plans (IQIP) for new projects and provide training to quality inspectors.
Share knowledge and lessons learned with the team to support the resolution of significant quality issues.
Support special projects as requested.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management.
Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English, with effective communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills, with sound knowledge of product quality and process control.
Working knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, and quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and MSA.
Good understanding of measurement methods and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of responsibility, willingness to share knowledge, and good computer skills.

VDA 6.3 auditor qualification.
