Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Analyst supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Director of Test (DT), Ground-based Midcourse Defense Sensors Test division at the Von Braun Complex on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Astrion is at the forefront of new missile defense technologies and supports the MDA’s rigorous operational and developmental testing. The candidate will serve as a vital operational, technical, and cybersecurity liaison bridging test resource management, facility stakeholders, and the Radar Test Team. Working in direct support of the GME-T Radar Test Resource Manager and Radar Test Team Chief, the advanced analyst ensures Ground-Based Midcourse (GM) radar test assets at the Advanced Research Center (ARC) are mission-ready, cyber-resilient, properly scheduled, and fully integrated for Developmental and Operational Testing (DT/OT), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) venues, and major flight, ground and cyber test campaigns.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

• Radar test resource management and asset readiness

• Operational planning, asset coordination, and test support for integrated flight test milestones

• Test planning, coordination, scheduling and schedule deconfliction

• Red/Blue team synchronization, operational cyber assessments, and threat-informed test profiles to assess radar system posture against persistent cyber threats

• Analysis to determine root causes, evaluate system resilience, and establish actionable corrective actions

• Test team representation and presentation during test event working groups and planning meetings

• Senior level briefing development and presentation

• Test observation and incident report management

• Enterprise tasker system management and reporting

• Manage test team facility access and security clearance verification

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Masters degree in a relevant field; Bachelors degree with an additional 5 years of experience may be substituted for a Masters degree

• 10 years of recent relevant experience

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain at least a Secret security clearance

• Experience working in a fast paced, professional environment with the ability to adjust/react to short notice requirements changes, deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events

• HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• In depth knowledge of MDA test planning, processes and execution

• Experience in cybersecurity testing across interconnected systems

• Experience in developing standardized plans, processes, and checklists

• Self-motivated; possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment

• Proficient with Windows-based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams)
