About the Role Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) in the Neurosciences Department supporting both Neuro-Hospitalist and Neuro Critical Care teams. This full-time role, based at NCH Hospital in Arlington Heights, involves direct patient care in clinic and hospital settings under collaboration with physicians. Hours: 12-hour shifts, 6:00am–10:00pm; rotating weekends.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive patient care including taking detailed histories, performing exams, ordering imaging and labs, and interpreting results.
- Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens and pre/post operative instructions; maintain and document progress notes.
- Manage patient's course of treatment across the clinic and hospital settings; collaborate with physicians and care team to optimize outcomes.
