Job title: Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) - Critical Care - Per Diem
About the Role The CCS APP will be part of our ICU teams located at Evanston Hospital with rotation to other sites, providing autonomous, high-quality care for critically ill medical and surgical patients in ICUs. This per diem/Resource role offers flexibility with rotating hours and cross-training across multiple sites.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive exams, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments for direct management of acute and chronic illness/disease in ICU patients.
- Work autonomously within interdisciplinary teams with intensivists to ensure safe, high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Rotate between Evanston Hospital and other sites (Glenbrook, Highland Park, Skokie) and be cross-trained for all ICUs.
What We're Looking For
- Illinois Controlled Substance & DEA License
- BLS/ACLS
- Current RN/APN or PA license in the State of Illinois
- Physician Associate / NCCPA Board certification
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master's Degree
- Experienced in critical care patient management (mandatory) OR completion of a one-year critical care residency OR APN Acute Care NP OR Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP Board Certification (ACNP or AGACNP) preferred
- Will consider ANP or FNP with relevant experience & training
- Education: Graduate of an accredited APN Masters (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) Program
- Cardiovascular experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $61.22 - $85.71 per hour
- Per diem/resource with limited benefits; rotating day/evening hours and weekends/holidays as needed
