About the Role CBU seeks an Admissions Recruiter to advise and recruit prospective students and families, support enrollment, and contribute to recruitment strategies and partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Advise students and families regarding educational opportunities, admission requirements, transfer of credit, policies and procedures, and financial aid as appropriate.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs, projects, events, and initiatives to recruit students within targeted populations and facilitate admission.
- Analyze trends in recruitment and retention; participate in establishing recruitment strategies, resources, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement outreach programs, events, and activities for recruitment and enrollment from targeted communities.
- Create and distribute resource and promotional materials for the recruitment and retention of students in targeted groups.
- Review applications, evaluate admission eligibility, troubleshoot issues, and oversee communications with applicants.
- Maintain communication with prospective students via telephone, mail, and email through all stages of recruitment, admission, and enrollment.
- Keep accurate records of recruiting activities and contacts.
- Assist with other student service projects and events as requested.
- Achieve aggressive monthly recruiting goals.
- Interact with CBU's enrollment leadership team to develop recruitment strategies and partnerships.
- The position will require evening and weekend work and travel. A valid driver's license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation are required.

- Experience in student recruitment/admissions and the ability to develop outreach programs and recruitment strategies; strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze trends and contribute to policies, procedures, and resource development; excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel as needed; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with enrollment leadership.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating and distributing promotional materials for targeted student populations.
- Background in higher education recruitment and retention initiatives.
