Job title: Administrator M/F

About the Role CFAO South Africa is seeking an Administrator M/F based in South Africa to support switchboard, reception and administrative functions across the branch. The role contributes to service excellence and helps manage day-to-day office operations in support of CFAO Group’s automotive business.

What You'll Do

  • Switchboard operation: answer, screen and direct incoming calls; take and forward messages; test lines and report faults; handle customer complaints with service excellence.
  • Reception: manage the reception area and greet/direct visitors, suppliers and customers.
  • Administration: assist with routine admin tasks; distribute courier deliveries; oversee meeting and training room bookings; liaise with Housekeepers for refreshments; update telephone lists and switchboard programming.
  • Branch responsibilities: full responsibility for petty cash; purchasing for the branch; vehicle fleet management as proxy for licensing and fines.

What We're Looking For

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position and environment with exposure to general office administration duties
  • Computer literacy: MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Kerridge proficiency (advantage)
  • Strong customer and personal service orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; active listening; information ordering; time management
  • English language proficiency and ability to read/write
  • Experience working on Microsoft Teams

Nice to Have

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in MS Office packages
  • Kerridge experience would be an advantage; fleet licensing/fines administration experience
