About the Role The Administrative Specialist 1 will support the Quantitative Research Unit within the Data Analytics, Research, and Statistics (DARS) office. The role involves entering data, producing and validating statistical reports, and assisting in editing internal and external publications to align with the Unit’s style guide. What You'll Do
- Enter data into front-end systems and produce/validate reports.
- Recommend updates to systems and processes as needed.
- Collect, collate, and analyze monthly reports, including validation of Tableau or PowerBI dashboards.
- Review reports for grammar and adherence to the Unit’s internal Style Guide and accessibility standards.
- Track data requests and perform quality control on reports.
- Contribute to the design of additional dashboards and ad hoc statistical reports.
- Collaborate with IT and Automated Trial Court Services Unit on data system updates.
- Document data analysis and reporting techniques for reproducibility.
- Facilitate reporting of New Jersey statistics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain regular and predictable presence at the worksite. What We're Looking For
- Three years of experience performing clerical and support services, including keyboarding and at least one of: document/information processing or scheduling meetings.
- Proficient keyboarding skills; no minimum speed required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience editing tables in Excel, creating visualizations in Tableau/PowerBI, and reviewing manuscripts before publication preferred. Nice to Have

- Salary range: $50,776.88 to $80,037.83 (Schedule A) or $50,776.88 to $76,035.93 (Schedule B).
- Remote/hybrid work option with up to 3 days remote per week; standard benefits typical of NJ Judiciary.
