About the Role The Administrative position supports procurement and subcontract administration for a program team in Boulder, CO, focusing on procurement planning, analysis of purchase requests, review of SOWs, and negotiation of terms, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will work closely with Acting Sr. Subcontract Manager, PMs, and other stakeholders through project life cycles.
What You'll Do
- Prepare award recommendations and negotiate subcontract agreements; prepare and fully administer Subcontract Agreements; document procurement files through final closeout.
- Review statements of work, schedule of values, and negotiate terms; draft and negotiate NDAs, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, consulting agreements, check requests, credit card purchase requests, and closeout records.
- Conduct regular program procurement meetings with all PMs alongside the Acting Sr. Subcontract Manager.
- Ensure compliance with insurance and bonding requirements; monitor subcontract performance; maintain fiscal and ethical procurement practices.
- Assist Sr. Subcontracts Manager and senior management with special assignments; participate in the subcontracts process from initiation to completion.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in Federal, State or Local Government procurement and subcontract administration.
- Experience with FFP, IDIQ, and T&M contracts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Kahua or similar Project Management Software.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Procurement experience in the construction industry (private commercial/USG).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment; flexible, team-based; excellent oral and written communication; proficient in contractor/vendor relations; contract negotiation.
- NCMA, ISM or NIGP Certifications.
