Job title: Administrative Coordinator, UOP Reach for the Stars STEM Academy
About the Role The Administrative Coordinator, UOP Reach for the Stars STEM Academy (RFTSSA), will manage a wide range of administrative tasks and support planning for the 2026 summer academy on the Stockton campus. Under the supervision of the School of Engineering Assistant Dean for Student Success, the Coordinator will facilitate logistics, data collection, budgeting, and communication to ensure smooth program delivery for RFTSSA serving students in the Tracy Unified School District.
What You'll Do
- Provide on-site management and outreach support for the RFTSSA, assisting the Tomorrow Project Administrator and collecting academy data.
- Maintain up-to-date records of equipment, materials, maintenance, and supplies; coordinate logistics for instructional supplies, field trips, and daily lunches/snacks; manage the academy operating budget (excluding personnel costs).
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee events such as parent training and community outreach; develop positive relationships with students and site staff to foster connectedness.
- Provide administrative assistance to team members, including training on new systems and procedures; assist with program marketing and outreach.
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, site administrators, teachers, visitors, and other public entities; support budget oversight and accounting record keeping; assist with project planning and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with Lead teachers, other teachers, and classroom teaching assistants to deliver the daily curriculum; attend staff orientation, Minors on Campus Training, staff meetings, and other program preparation activities.

- Strong organizational and administrative skills with demonstrated ability to manage data, records, and budgets for a program.
- Experience coordinating logistics for classrooms, field trips, meals, and events; ability to handle procurement and supply management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and campus staff.
- Ability to work onsite on the Stockton campus during the summer program and participate in required trainings and meetings.
- Comfort with multi-tasking, problem-solving, and using basic office software.
