About the Role The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites unemployed youth to apply for Government entry level positions. The Administrative Clerk: Immovable Asset Register (Verification) role involves supporting physical verification of assets, ownership checks, and data management to ensure accuracy of the Immovable Asset Register (IAR). What You'll Do
- Assist in physical verification of NDPWI assets.
- Perform support function to ASD and DD Physical Verification.
- Perform desktop planning and confirmation of ownership of land parcels.
- Assist with GIS spatial data checks.
- Check and verify property data on relevant database and ERP solution.
- Approve transactions passed by regions from mobile application.
- Administer the performance of physical verification activities to provide status information around existence and condition of all Immovable Assets in the register.
- Ensure data accuracy in the IAR.
- Verify documents and conduct deeds searches.
- Assist with property information to other units.
- Perform physical verification of sites and condition assessment. What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Driver’s license required.
- Skills and competencies including report writing, good interpersonal relations, general office administration and organization skills, basic numeracy, and computer literacy. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: R228,321 per annum.
