About the Role National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) invites applications for entry-level Administrative Clerk roles across multiple locations in South Africa. These positions provide essential clerical and administrative support to prosecutors and legal staff, contributing to the efficient administration of prosecutorial services. What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the office and to the legal staff, including supporting finance, logistics and human resources functions where applicable.
  • Design and maintain well-organized administrative systems for the office; execute a wide variety of routine administrative tasks.
  • Draft correspondence to members of the public, other organisations, and State departments; forward correspondence to Advocates, Prosecutors and other stakeholders where required.
  • Liaise with administration/corporate services on matters pertaining to the administrative functioning of the office; manage workflow and document tracking; deliver mails and faxes; handle filing, photocopying, faxing, receiving and dispatching documents.
  • Provide administrative support to SPP and Prosecutor in the cluster; provide logistical services as needed; receive correspondence dockets for the section; collect information for civil matters.
  • For locations with additional duties, assist with data capturing, record management and general administrative tasks; place orders, process requests, track status in systems and generate reports as required. What We're Looking For
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrable competency in acting independently, professionally, accountably and with credibility.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills; strong verbal and written communication; report writing.
  • Customer focus and responsiveness; problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, MS Office suite and Outlook; ability to adapt to additional software as needed.
  • Flexibility, document administration, writing skills and time management; ability to work under pressure. Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: R228,321 – R237,453 per annum (Level 5) (excluding benefits).
