The Investment Partnerships Administration team is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support across a variety of functions. In this role, you’ll work closely with partners, managers, clients, and internal stakeholders, helping coordinate important documentation, communications, and operational processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to a collaborative, professional services environment.

Database Coordination: Manage data entry activities within internal software systems and support related administrative processes to maintain accurate records.

Document Management: Coordinate the collection and processing of legal, financial, tax, and regulatory documents, including obtaining required signatures.

Communications Support: Draft, distribute, and manage general correspondence while serving as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Mailing Coordination: Organize mailings, monitor responses, and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Interact regularly with senior partners, managers, clients, and team members to support business operations and workflow needs.

Administrative Support: Provide flexible, ad hoc assistance on a variety of projects and time-sensitive requests as business needs arise.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is desired; 3+ years of experience in a professional services firm

Technical
Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Dynamo or similar software is a plus.

Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems, and web-based tools.

Organization & Confidentiality: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Independence: Self-motivated approach with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Compensation
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:
Chicago: $58,000 - $72,000
