About the Role The Department of Agriculture is inviting unemployed youths to apply for multiple entry-level government positions at the Head Office in Pretoria, Gauteng. The available roles include Administration Clerk, Registry Clerk, and Supply Chain Practitioner: Demand Management, each with its own salary level and responsibilities. What You'll Do
- Administration Clerk: provide general clerical support, data capture, filing, correspondence handling, procurement-related support, stock and asset registers, leave/attendance management, travel arrangements.
- Registry Clerk: provide registry counter services, handle mail and correspondence, maintain filing and record-keeping systems, ensure disposal and franking, remittance administration.
- Supply Chain Practitioner: Demand Management: assist with procurement planning, collate and consolidate demand management plans, draw reports, supervise procurement clerical services, manage supplier database, request quotations, process orders, and ensure timely procurement. What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 or equivalent; no prior experience required
- Knowledge of clerical duties, data capture, computer literacy, and understanding of Public Service legislative framework
- Skills in planning, organisation, written and verbal communication, teamwork and interpersonal relations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driving licence for the SCM role (as per advert) Nice to Have

- Supply Chain Practitioner: Demand Management: R325,101 per annum (Level 07)
