About the Role Wright State University seeks an Adjunct for Workforce Development Training on the Lake Campus to provide instruction and training related to local manufacturing needs. The role emphasizes hands-on lab training, equipment maintenance, and potential offsite instruction, with responsibility for lab records and grades.

What You'll Do

  • Provide instruction and/or develop training related to local manufacturing workforce needs.
  • Deliver high-quality lab training with real-world hands-on activities and maintain training equipment for lab work.
  • Facilitate offsite instruction if needed and manage lab student records and grades.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum Qualifications: An Associate’s degree in an engineering field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in one or more areas: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Basic Manufacturing Processes, Robotics, and 3-D printing.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and the ability to conduct training in those areas.

Nice to Have

  • Three to five years of work experience in an advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Prior teaching experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
