About the Role WSU’s School of Fine and Performing Arts is accepting applications for adjunct teaching positions for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 academic year. These positions support Theatre and Dance programs and target candidates with both academic and performance qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Teach theatre and/or dance courses in the School of Fine and Performing Arts for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.
- Prepare and deliver course materials and assessments.
- Engage in student mentoring and program-related activities as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications: professional experience or academic qualifications covering subject matter taught within the Fine and Performing Arts; an academic degree at one level above the level taught (except in terminal degree programs or when equivalent experience is established); if teaching outside the field of advanced degree, at least 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching field; at least 1 year of professional or teaching experience or the equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. with at least 3 years professional or teaching experience.
