Job title: Adjunct - Teacher Education (Fall 2026 - Summer 2027)
About the Role WSU’s Teacher Education program is accepting applications for adjunct teaching positions for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 semesters. These roles span Field Experiences and Teacher Education, with opportunities across ranks from adjunct instructor to adjunct professor. Duties primarily involve teaching via didactics, clinical and/or simulation experiences, in formats that include in-person and online synchronous/asynchronous delivery (100%).
What You'll Do
- Teach in Field Experiences and Teacher Education programs across Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.
- Deliver instruction through didactics, clinical and/or simulation experiences in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous).
- Adapt to program requirements, participate in assessments, and support the college’s mission on diversity.
- Maintain compliance with background checks and university policies where applicable.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications: Professional experience or academic qualifications covering subject matter taught within Teacher Education and Field Experiences.
- Applicants must possess an academic degree at least one level above the level at which they will teach, except in terminal degree programs where the same level is required.
- If teaching outside the field of their advanced degree, candidates must have completed at least 18 graduate-level credit hours of instruction in the field.
- At least 1 year of professional or teaching experience, and a commitment to integrating diversity into all aspects of the programs.
