About the Role Wright State University’s School of Nursing is accepting applications for adjunct teaching positions for Fall 2026 – Summer 2027 semesters. Candidates with qualifications for the ranks from adjunct instructor through adjunct professor are encouraged to apply. Official transcripts will be required prior to hiring. What You'll Do
- Teach via didactics, clinical and/or simulation experiences; assignments may occur in-person or online (synchronous and asynchronous) with a 100% teaching load for the term.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience or academic qualifications covering subject matter taught within the School of Nursing.
- An academic degree one level above the level at which they will teach, except in terminal degree programs or when equivalent experience is established.
- If teaching outside field of their advanced degree, must have completed at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the field where they teach.
- At least 1 year professional or teaching experience unless otherwise noted in program-specific qualifications.
- Commitment to the college’s mission of integrating diversity into all aspects of our programs.
- Ohio RN license and two years clinical nursing experience prior to start date.
