About the Role The Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at North Central College invites applications for an adjunct (per-course) faculty position to teach electrical engineering lecture and laboratory sections for the Spring 2026 semester and future terms. Candidates with a master’s degree or significant engineering industry experience will be considered; college-level teaching experience is preferred. This is an as-needed, part-time opportunity to support course offerings and student learning. What You'll Do
- Teach electrical engineering lecture and laboratory sections on a per-course basis.
- Contribute to course development and student learning in support of the Electrical Engineering program.
- Maintain timely communication with students and the department, and participate in the coordination of upcoming terms as needed. What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree or significant industry experience in engineering.
- College-level teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations; commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Nice to Have
- Prior adjunct or university teaching experience. Compensation & Benefits
- Budgeted salary range: $960-$1,040 per credit hour. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable roles.
