About the Role Under the direction of the Dean, Department Chair or Program Director, the Adjunct Faculty Member provides academic instruction to students in the Digital Media and Design area, typically for undergraduate and/or graduate courses. This part-time role supports student learning and outcomes, aligning with the university mission to educate leaders for a global society.

What You'll Do

• Provide academic instruction through lecture, lab, or online/distance modalities; assess and develop student cognitive abilities and higher-order thinking skills.
• Advise students on programs of study, resources, lifelong learning opportunities, and effective study skills; refer to support services as appropriate.
• Observe and evaluate student performance; provide timely feedback in class, online, or during office hours.
• Plan and organize instruction according to approved course outlines and student learning outcomes; align with department and university goals.
• Maintain current, accurate records of enrollment, attendance, progress, course curriculum, and outcomes; prepare and submit related data and reports timely.
• Evaluate and select instructional materials (textbooks, software, tools) in collaboration with discipline faculty; order materials through campus procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Ability to deliver course curricula in various learning styles.
• Sensitivity to diverse academic, social, economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds; including needs of students with disabilities.
• Ability to integrate current and emerging instructional delivery technologies into the learning process.
• Maintain professional standards that protect student confidentiality; effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience and professional recognition.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hiring range: $32.00 to $34.50 per hour (USD).
