About the Role

The Physics Department at Wright State University is seeking adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach physics courses. What You'll Do

  • Teach assigned physics courses for the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Deliver lectures, labs, and assessments aligned with the department curriculum.
  • Maintain a professional learning environment and support student learning.

What We're Looking For

  • Professional experience or academic qualifications in physics.
  • An academic degree one level above the level you will teach (or the same level in terminal degree programs).
  • If teaching outside your field of your advanced degree, at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the field where you teach.
  • At least 1 year of professional or teaching experience.
  • Eligibility for ranks from adjunct instructor to adjunct professor.
