About the Role
The adjunct will teach classes on an as-needed basis at Wright State University's Lake Campus in Celina, Ohio, for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position intended to fill teaching needs across various disciplines.
What You'll Do
- Teach courses at the Lake Campus on an as-needed basis for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.
- Deliver high-quality instruction and support student learning outcomes, consistent with the 100% instructional time allocation.
- Collaborate with campus administration and faculty as needed to fulfill course requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications: Professional experience or academic qualifications covering the subject matter to be taught; possess an academic degree one level above the level at which they will teach; in terminal degree programs, adjunct faculty must possess the same level of degree. If teaching outside the field of their advanced degree, must have completed at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the field; at least 1 year professional or teaching experience.
Nice to Have
- Doctoral degree in the discipline or subfield being taught.
- Demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching.
