About the Role
Warner Pacific University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach writing, research, and information literacy in the traditional undergraduate program (Mt. Tabor, Portland) and its evening Professional and Graduate Studies Programs. A master’s degree is required (PhD or discipline-specific doctorate preferred), and experience teaching these areas is essential. This role supports a Christian liberal arts education and a commitment to a diverse, inclusive campus community.
What You'll Do
- Teach writing, research, and information literacy courses across the traditional undergraduate program and evening Professional and Graduate Studies Programs.
- Contribute to the University's strategic plan and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to University policies and the Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement, upholding the mission and Christian liberal arts identity.
- Foster inclusiveness and sensitivity to diverse national origins, ethnicities, cultures, genders, and abilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree required; PhD or discipline-specific doctorate preferred.
- Demonstrated experience teaching writing, research, or information literacy.
