About this role
Bushnell University seeks adjunct instructors to teach Spanish in its Arts & Sciences department. A Doctorate is preferred, but a Master's degree with significant teaching experience will be considered. We are interested in both graduate and undergraduate instructors. This pool supports a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity, and applicants must include a personal Statement of Faith describing how a maturing Christian faith is expressed in personal life, family, community, church, and academic work.
Teach Spanish courses to undergraduate students and, as appropriate, graduate students. Contribute to a learning environment that values multiculturalism, diversity, and a Christian-centered academic community. Maintain confidentiality and professional standards under FERPA; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Participate in department and campus life in alignment with Bushnell Theological Context for Community.
Doctorate preferred; Master’s degree with significant teaching experience will be considered. Ability to teach Spanish at undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and diversity; active engagement in a Christian congregation. Vibrant, maturing Christian faith and willingness to provide a personal Statement of Faith with application. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong listening ability, clarity in writing and speaking, attention to detail, and professional integrity.
