Job title: Adjunct Instructor of Communication Studies

The Department of Communication & Media in the Getty College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a part-time, adjunct faculty position in Communication Studies. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Communication will be considered.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the instructor of record for CAMS 1301 – Presentational Speaking (Public Speaking).
- A typical assignment will include one course each semester, with the possibility of a second depending on student demand.
- Mentor students inside and outside the classroom; participate in department activities as appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Communication Studies (or related) or 18 hours graduate coursework in Communication Studies (or related).
- Those with experience teaching undergraduate, introductory Communication Studies courses are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor students.
- Backgrounds in all areas of Communication will be considered; university-level teaching experience is encouraged.
- Minimum qualifications align with the stated degree/coursework requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
