Job Description The Adjunct Instructor may be assigned to prepare and deliver lecture(s) and or/facilitate lab(s) and/or support clinical education.
Required Qualifications licensed D.O., M.D., PhD, or other doctoral degree
Preferred Qualifications Board Certification in specialty area for physicians

Job Duties
- Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large
- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students
- promote by precept and example a general atmosphere within LMU-DCOM of respect for knowledge, thought and inquiry
- deliver lectures utilizing the latest body of knowledge and evidence
- prepare examination questions as requested
- meet with course directors during as needed and deliver lecture(s) according to published schedule
- commit to working in a professional multicultural environment that fosters diversity
- serve as an example to learners and colleagues of appropriate professional behavior
- demonstrate and supervise students during clinical educational activities utilizing standardized patients and/or volunteer patients
- supervise students during authorized and approved patient care events including health fairs, sports physicals, or community outreach programs
