About the Role Join the North Central College English Language Institute as a part-time adjunct instructor in the Intensive English Program. You will design and deliver engaging English-language instruction to multilingual students across Reading & Vocabulary, Writing & Grammar, Listening and Speaking, or Cultural Topics, at varying proficiency levels, and adapt curriculum based on needs assessments.
What You'll Do
- Prepare for and teach courses for English Language Learners as assigned and in accordance with curricular guidelines.
- Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
- Maintain and submit records of student attendance in accordance with program requirements.
- Maintain and submit course syllabi and lesson plans in accordance with program requirements.
