About this role
Gannon University’s Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach in traditional areas of speech-language pathology for the graduate speech-language pathology program and the undergraduate program in communication sciences and disorders in Erie, Pennsylvania. Remote teaching will be considered for undergraduate and graduate programs.
Teach in traditional areas of speech-language pathology for graduate and undergraduate programs in Erie, PA (with the possibility of remote instruction). Provide supervision for clinical experiences in line with the program’s needs; candidates for supervision should hold CCC-SLP and have post-certification experience. Use technology in teaching to enhance student learning, and contribute to course development as needed. Uphold and promote the University’s mission and standards in teaching and service.
For teaching: at least a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Audiology, or Speech-Language Pathology with teaching or professional experience. For clinical supervision: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, minimum of one year post-certification experience, and at least 2 hours of professional development in clinical supervision/education. Candidates may have experience with adult and pediatric populations. Knowledge or expertise in advanced topics is encouraged: Motor Speech Disorders, Dysphagia, Voice Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Hearing Disorders and Aural Rehabilitation. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and ability to utilize technology in instruction.
PhD or Ed.D. (preferred). Prior experience supervising graduate students.
